The knee support used is here.
These were virtually identical when purchased. The left brace clearly is not as efficient.
Both braces will be presented to the SCC in one form or another. Emphasis will be placed on the strength of the normal brace at the region of the hole.
This photo was taken while sitting and knees bent. The faulty knee brace is even more clearly faulty.
While I was wearing both braces, a private consultant surgeon pointed to the faulty brace and asked why it had been cut. "Hardly worth wearing." was included in his reply.
I told him the Bosworth Clinic story. As the one-hour session came to a close, the physiotherapist recommended that the central hole should be enlarged.
Needless to say, it was a waste of money after but I tried it by varying the knees. There was a marked outcome. There was no benefit on either knee when used alone and none when used with the good brace.
Both braces will be presented to the SCC in one form or another. Emphasis will be placed on the strength of the normal brace at the region of the hole in particular. Also, the lack of strength within the large hole on the other brace.
It is not worn by the claimant at all.
It doesn't need a degree in physiotherapy to work out. Mr Hazlett is clearly insufficiently capable.
